What type of workers’ compensation benefits are there?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

In a normal workers compensation case, there are normally four benefits. The first being temporary disability, which is entitled temporary total disability, where the injured worker is paid two thirds of their normal salary during the time that he or she is found to be temporarily totally disabled. The second benefit is that of permanent disability, which is a percentage of their disability, based on what the doctor’s reporting finds. The third is medical treatment. That’s very important because that’s basically your injured worker’s health. And lastly, and if it applies, vocational rehabilitation benefits.
