Division of Workers’ Compensation – The DWC is the agency in charge of administering workers’ compensation claims and is in charge of utilization reviews, independent medical reviews, qualified medical evaluators, and more. Information for the injured worker can be found here, and you can also get answers to frequently asked questions about workers’ compensation.

Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board – If you disagree with a decision made by a workers’ comp administrative law judge in your case, you can petition the WCAB for reconsideration.

Permanent Disability Rating Schedule – Once your medical condition becomes “permanent and stationary” or you’ve reached “maximum medical improvement,” this guide will be used to calculate a permanent disability rating which affects how long you can receive workers’ comp.

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration – The NHTSA is a U.S. government agency dedicated to traffic safety. Find information here on distracted driving, drunk driving, vehicle safety recalls, and more.

AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety – This not-for-profit conducts research into traffic safety and shares information about safe driving for seniors, teens and other vulnerable road users.

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration – The FMCSA regulates the commercial trucking industry and publishes regulations regarding maximum hours of service for truck drivers, semi-truck size and weight limits, and other factors related to preventing truck accidents and crashes.
