May I work while receiving workers’ compensation benefits?

Return to FAQ Videos

If an insurance company has accepted your claim and is paying you temporary total disability, then you are not supposed to work outside of that. But during your worker’s compensation claim, if a doctor has you return to work with restrictions and if the employer can meet those restrictions, you are eligible and able, and under duty to return to work.
