Any workplace injury when a worker who is involved in his regular duties and sustains any type of workplace injury is entitled to workers’ compensation benefits, and then his exclusive remedy becomes that in workers’ comp unless there is some type of employer-based negligence that is serious and willful where you can sue an employer directly. But the primary principal method of recovery is through the workers’ compensation system which is an exclusive remedy.
